Creating an emotive campaign film for AFK charity

In a world that often presents challenges, there are remarkable individuals and organisations dedicated to making a positive impact. Among these, AFK stands out for its unwavering dedication to helping children and young people with disabilities and autism lead more independent and fulfilling lives, enabling them to reach their full potential. Recently, we had the opportunity to share in the work they do by capturing three compelling case studies.

At the heart of AFK's mission lies a vision for a world where every child can flourish. As filmmakers, our challenge extended beyond merely documenting this vision; it was about crafting a visual narrative that portrayed the hurdles and celebrated triumphs. Through meticulous pre-production planning and being open and friendly on set, we aimed to capture the raw emotions and authentic stories that would serve as the soul of this campaign. 

What made this project particularly poignant was the privilege to share personal stories from individuals where AFK positively impacted their lives. These narratives serve as powerful testaments to how AFK recognises the unique challenges children can face and how understanding the individual needs of each child and tailoring support can help them thrive.
